+# Modifying the FTDI FT230X-S
+
+An FTDI utility called "FT_PROG" can be used to program the EEPROM.
+
+A Microsoft utility called "USBView" is included in the Windows 10 SDK. To install it, run the "Windows 10 SDK" installer and select at least the "Debugging Tools for Windows" option to get the "USBView" program. There, you will be able to view the USB connection tree with the USB devices that are connected along with  their configuration data, which can help with debugging issues.
